In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, & that life was the light of all mankind. 
The light shines in the darkness, & the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:1-5

The Word is the Son of God & is GOD !
The Son of God is the life, light & essence of everything living. 
In the Son are hidden all things, without the Son there is no thing. 
Just as the sun proveds living things with light & warmth & they wither & die without the sun, so does the Son of God, YESHUA, provide light & warmth to mankind & we wither & die without HIM!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one & only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one & only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, & will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
